I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant several times last month, indulging in their breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. However, I must take a moment to express my absolute delight for their unique French toast. 'Delicious' doesn't do it justice – it's beyond amazing. The perfect blend of flavors and textures, every bite was a heavenly experience.
But the magic doesn't stop at their French toast. Their menu is a culinary adventure in itself, featuring a wide array of dishes that showcase their mastery in the kitchen. From appetizers to desserts, each dish is crafted with precision and passion. It's evident that the chefs here are true artists, transforming ordinary ingredients into extraordinary culinary creations.
Whenever I want to treat myself, there's 3 to 5 places that comes to mind – this one of them .
My sister took me and my 92 year old aunt to dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We had a fabulous waiter, Clement, who was patient with us which we really appreciated. My aunt loves oysters and was totally delighted to be able to have 6 all to herself, while we had onion soup which we think is a treat too. We had a glass of Sancerre each suggested by Clement which was crisp clean and chilled. My aunt and I had tuna tataki and my sister had seasonal vegetables spicy salsa and couscous. Everything was delicious. There was low level inoffensive pop music playing in the background which was fine. The interior is quite traditional but very comfortable. A beautiful hot air ballon sculpture display with fairy lights really set a nice tone in the centre of the restaurant.
We had an incredible profiterole dessert which we had to wait a while for - I think to wait for it to defrost! Hot chocolate sauce was poured on top to aid the defrosting I’m sure.
It tasted incredible though so happy days!!
All in all a wonderful wonderful evening,
Tasty quality ingredients served with grace and panache by Clement. A bit pricey but it was the evening we wanted with our aunt.
Excellent food. Excellent service (they even checked our coats!). Very accommodating with my lousy French and the fact that we arrived a half hour before our reservation.
The location is very pretty, it has an inside and outside part (a closed off greenhouse part and the actual outside part). Location is great by the Bon Marché. Service is very good, staff is very nice. Food is great. We had the pasta alle vongole which was delicious and the couscous with vegetables which was nice. The couscous sauce was very strong. Not cheap though but at atmosphere and food makes it quite justified.
I got the daurade and asked for a side of vegetables instead of the green beans. It was delicious ! The fraisier for dessert was probably one of the best I’ve had in Paris, I’ll come back. Wifi is kinda slow but it was laptop- friendly & there’s plenty of outlets. The waiters were lovely
I love their desserts! Very light and delicious.
First time I went I tried their lemon tarte and found it excellent! I also tried their Mont Blanc revisité and it was amazing!!! Second time i just had their café gourmand
Very good!
Today I went there for lunch and it was just excellent. I had the muscles for the appetizer which I recommend, and then the veal piccata which was delicious and I ended it with the vache rin aux fruits rouge and it was fantastic!!!
The pros : beautiful decor, generally good service, some excellent dishes and products (vegetable salad, flan, chouquettes)
The cons : time to get the hot dishes was a bit longer than expected. Waffles weren’t on par with the other pastries
We happened upon this place serendipitously after shopping at Bon Marché. We were looking for a quick drink before our lunch reservation elsewhere but decided to stay after the staff made us feel so welcome. They are very kind and all so …
